I found my way into the digital world quite late. At first I wanted to improve my skills in the print-field. But as we all know, sometimes “Love at second sight”. The first time I heard of HTML5 & CSS3, I was a bit skeptical. All these “weird signs”. But it clicked quite fast and these two “guys” have become really good friends of mine. Also, JavaScript came quietly into my life and I don’t want to live without it anymore.
During my traineeship, I learned how to work with Lean, Agile, and Scrum - especially with design. I learned that communication and teamwork are one of the most important tools during the design process. To iterate with stakeholders and other designers and get regular feedback helps avoid that your expectations go in different directions. If you practice pairing, also with other roles, you can minimize “mistakes” and promote knowledge sharing.
